Awol One feat. Slug & Circus “Stitches”

I haven’t gone to sleep yet, so this counts for 1/14, right?  Been preparing for KU tour, this song came on while I was going through some lists and I remembered how much I liked it when I got it from my friend Lonny back at work in 2005 or so.  I haven’t paid enough attention to hip-hop this decade, and “Stitches” is something I need to follow up on eventually.  Awol One’s flow is so casual and seemingly careless, his word choices aren’t dependent on rhyme and it always stands out, in a positive way.  I also love the guitar samples, especially the Marilyn Manson cover of “Sweet Dreams.”
